Steve Satterfield

QuestionHawley asks how much revenue Meta derives from Instagram and specifically from teen/addicted users, accuses the company of prioritizing profit over disclosure, and asks Meta to commit to suspending development of Instagram Kids (targeting under-13s).

ResponseSatterfield says he doesn't know Instagram's or teens' specific revenue figures, and rather than committing to suspend Instagram Kids, says Meta wants tweens (who are "online" regardless) to have a good, healthy experience.
