Irish Data Protection Commission

Meta's lead data-protection regulator in the EU, by virtue of its Irish establishment. An escalation over rolling back the protection that stops 18-20-year-olds messaging minors counts, among the costs of doing so, having to brief "regulators like the IDPC, FTC and ICO to flag the change (therefore disclosing the gap)."
