MaCSA

Malicious Child Safety Actor

A per-account risk score used to identify risky adult actors and filter or limit their recommendation to and interaction with minors, on surfaces including PYMK, AYMF and Search. The thresholds are asymmetric by direction - an adult scoring above 0.3 is filtered out of a minor's recommendations, while a minor is filtered out of that adult's only "except where 2 year age gap", and unconditionally only above 0.6 - and the policy decision document warns that "gaps in MaCSA's recall may lead to Risky Adults <> teen recommendations, generating further external pressure if regulators or reporters find risky recommendations".
